Mary achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Law from North Carolina State University.
Innovation and Start-up
To indulge her love of intellectual property and commercialisation, Mary is active in several technology innovation hubs and start-up incubators. She volunteers at high schools presenting technical industry insight and promoting careers in technology.
CEO Sleepout
2026 is the 14th year for Mary participating in St Vincent de Paul’s CEO Sleepout.

She also actively supports Oz Harvest’s CEO Cookoff
Fortunately, the celebrity chef does most of the cooking and Mary just raises funds and does the dishes.
Bees
To do her part to help save the planet, Mary work closely with Jack Stone of Bee One Third www.beeonethird.com.au to “pollinate change one bee at a time” by populating grey space rooftops into useful green space producing raw honey which is given away to clients/contractors and also sold at local markets under Bee One Third brand.
